New & Used CDJR Dealership Near Exeter, CA

2019 saw the launch of the Ram 1500’s current generation. (But its predecessor is still available as the Ram 1500 Classic.) Since then, upgraded models from Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, and Toyota have been offered in the full-size pickup truck market. Yet, only the Ram is honored with a place on our list of the Top 10 Trucks and SUVs for 2026. The most comfortable and best-driving pickup in the bunch is the Ram 1500. Its engine lineup consists of three different powertrain options, each using an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 260 horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 diesel, the 305 horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, and the 395 horsepower 5.7-liter V-8. Look for the 702 horsepower Ram 1500 TRX, reviewed separately, for even more power. The split-folding tailgate and lockable cargo bins in Ram’s bed are just the beginning of this half-tone ingenuity. Ram also offers the 1500 with a massive 12.0-inch infotainment screen for those looking to impress. The Ram 1500 is our favorite full-size pickup truck right now, thanks to its tremendous 12,750-pound maximum towing capacity and a strong preference for luxury.

Exceptional New & Used CDJR Vehicles

The 2026 Ram 1500 uses an eight-speed automatic transmission across the lineup and offers four gasoline engines: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 with eTorque, a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 with eTorque, and standard- and high-output versions of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six. Output ranges from 305 horsepower in the V-6 to 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque in the high-output Hurricane, and maximum towing reaches 11,610 pounds when properly equipped.

Diesel is not part of Ram’s published 2026 powertrain lineup. Instead, the truck’s range now centers on gasoline engines, with the HEMI newly available again on select models and the Hurricane engines handling the biggest performance numbers.

For buyers who like heading off pavement, Ram now offers several trail-focused versions of the 1500. The Rebel features a 1-inch raised ride height, lifted suspension, Bilstein shocks, and available four-corner air suspension, while the Warlock and RHO add their own off-road hardware and attitude.

Every Ram 1500 has a superior ride thanks to a rear suspension that uses standard coil springs or optional air springs rather than the traditional leaf-spring setup found on domestic rivals.

Even models with adjustable ride height are available, which improves off-road performance and fuel efficiency.

The High-Quality 2026 Jeep Wrangler of Lampe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

The Jeep Wrangler still leans on its military-era roots, with the 2026 model tying its image to the Willys-based Jeeps of World War II while adding more modern tech and comfort features. Jeep sells the Wrangler in both two-door and four-door body styles, and the lineup now centers on gasoline powertrains that include a 3.6-liter V-6, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and V-8-powered 392 models. At the top end, the Wrangler 392 remains the performance flag-bearer for 2026, with 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Every Wrangler comes with 4×4, and trail-focused versions such as the Rubicon continue to back up the model’s off-road reputation with serious hardware and Trail Rated capability. On pavement, the Wrangler still gives up refinement to more road-friendly rivals, with reviewers continuing to point to vague steering, noise, and less settled highway manners than SUVs like the Ford Bronco and Toyota 4Runner. Even so, the Wrangler keeps a loyal following because few rivals match its mix of removable doors and roof, classic Jeep character, and real trail ability.

2026 Jeep Wrangler Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The Jeep Wrangler still is not the roomiest or most practical SUV in its class, but it continues to mix classic Jeep character with modern features. Forward visibility remains one of its strengths, and the driver still sits close to the upright windshield behind a narrow dashboard with round air vents, chunky controls, and an available 12.3-inch center touchscreen. Rearward visibility is still compromised by the Wrangler’s thick roof pillars, roll bars, and grab handles, but Jeep continues to lean into open-air driving with removable tops and a new quick-release door hinge system that lets you remove the doors without tools.

Inside, the Wrangler remains more about adventure than family-hauler comfort, though Jeep says four-door models offer best-in-class rear-seat headroom and legroom. Cargo space is still a clear divide between body styles: official specs list up to 31.7 cubic feet of maximum interior cargo volume for the two-door and up to 72.4 cubic feet for the four-door, and Car and Driver reports fitting just two carry-on bags behind the two-door’s rear seat versus 10 behind the four-door. The rear seats still do not fold flat with the cargo floor, so the four-door Unlimited remains the better pick if you need extra room for people and gear.

The New 2026 Dodge Charger of Lampe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

The new 2026 Dodge Charger brings Dodge muscle into a new era with bold styling, modern tech, and serious performance. Available in both two-door and four-door body styles, the Charger lineup includes gas-powered R/T and Scat Pack models with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo SIXPACK inline-six, as well as the all-electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack. Standard all-wheel drive adds confidence, while gas-powered Charger models give drivers the ability to switch to rear-wheel drive for a more traditional muscle-car feel.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

The 2026 Dodge Charger is available in multiple trim and body-style combinations, including Charger R/T, Charger Scat Pack, and Charger Daytona Scat Pack models, with available Plus trims on select versions. Its exterior design builds on classic Dodge muscle cues with a widebody stance, signature LED lighting, an illuminated Fratzog badge, and a performance hood on gas-powered models. Depending on trim and package, drivers can choose from standard 18-inch wheels or available 20-inch wheels, along with available dark exterior badging, gloss-black hood treatments, racing stripes, and other appearance upgrades that give the Charger an even more aggressive look.
